Made in England
Objects with intention.
Beautiful design. Thoughtful materials. Objects made to find a place in your everyday.
Inspired by the world.
Made close to home.
Luma is a family-run studio, shaped by the places, objects and rituals we have encountered while travelling around the world.
Our first Christmas collection brings Scandinavian simplicity together with Japanese design. Quiet, sculptural forms are made to order in England using 3D printing.
Hours of prototyping and testing sit behind each finished form. We refine proportion, surface and function until the object feels calm, useful and resolved.
Explore ChristmasMade layer
by layer.
Look closely and you can follow the making: fine lines winding around each curve, one layer resting on the next. The surface holds a quiet record of how the object came to be.
Those lines catch the light differently across every curve. Small variations in the print and finish mean no two pieces are quite alike; each carries its own subtle trace of the process.
Materials chosen
with purpose.
We source specialist filaments for the finish, texture and suitability each object needs. For this Christmas collection, the wood-filled PLA filament contains 40% recycled wood. The fine printed layers and tactile surface are part of its character.
Made to order lets production follow real demand and minimise environmental impact. We do not claim our products are impact-free, but we do everything we can to reduce their impact on the environment through the materials we use, our production methods and our packaging. As orders are produced and shipped, we will calculate emissions from production and shipping and make corresponding contributions through Ecologi.
