For enquiries, including Bespoke Design enquiries, we use your name, email, message and any order number you provide. This lets us answer your question, discuss a possible project or help with your order. For questions about buying, this is a step towards a contract; for other enquiries, our legitimate interest is providing customer support.
To fulfil orders, we use contact and delivery details, chosen products and finishes, payment status and correspondence. We need these to perform our contract. Payment details are handled by Shopify and its payment providers; please never send card details in a message.
We use necessary technical information, such as IP addresses and request records, to protect and operate the website. Our legitimate interest is preventing abuse and keeping the service reliable. We also keep records needed to meet tax and other legal obligations.
You choose whether to contact us or order. Without a reply address we cannot answer an enquiry, and without delivery and payment information we cannot fulfil an order. Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing.
Who helps us provide the service
We use Shopify for commerce and payment processing, Vercel for website hosting, email providers for correspondence, and delivery providers to send orders. They receive the information needed for their role. We may share records with professional advisers or authorities where required.
When the contact form is available, Resend delivers the enquiry to our inbox and Upstash holds short-lived, scrambled identifiers to limit spam. The message itself is not stored in that spam counter. If the form is unavailable, the page offers our email address instead.
Some providers process information outside the UK. Transfers require an applicable UK adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can ask us about the safeguards for the providers handling your information.
Read more about Shopify’s privacy practices and Vercel’s privacy practices.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence while dealing with your request and for as long as needed to handle related follow-up or a dispute. For order and accounting records, the relevant tax-record requirements and any ongoing claim determine retention. We review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
Contact-form spam counters expire after 15 minutes. This does not delete correspondence from our inbox or records held by the email delivery service.
Cookies and saved choices
This storefront uses essential storage to remember your bag and product choices. Its bag cookie, __Host-luma-bag, lasts up to ten days from the latest bag update. Product choices are stored in your browser tab’s session storage and normally disappear when that session ends.
No advertising pixels or optional analytics are included in this storefront. Shopify checkout and our hosting provider may use their own essential cookies for payment, security and service operation. Your browser controls can remove stored data, but clearing the bag cookie may empty your bag.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy, where the relevant right applies. Contact hello@luma3d.shop to make a request.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful use.
You may complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not need to complain to us first, though we are happy to help resolve a concern.
